Being a mom of 4 is not easy. There is so much chaos and love and a bunch of emotions all jumbled up in a big mess! As mom we tend to hide most things and just keep them to ourselves but we all know in our hearts we want the tribe. The ones that we can relate too. We want to find those people that we say “girl me too” when they talk about what is going on in their life.
I am a country girl, that lives in Canada. I grew up on a farm in the middle of no where. I was surrounded by fields and trees. My drive way was to long, that way before my time it use to be a road that went right through to the other side. So going down it to get to the bus was a bit of a hike. I was in love with being so far from people. The wide open space, being so close to nature. I lived near a small town that you blink and you missed it. Everyone knew everyone. It was the town when you walked down the streets everyone said hi and new your name and asked how the family was doing. It was beautiful.
I married the love of my life, we grew up in the same town, went to the same public school and high school. My husband is the most hard working man I have ever met, besides my dad of course. My husband works so hard to provide for us. Sometimes I feel like he doesn’t get enough credit for how much he does. I do my best to show him how much I appreciate it!
Together we have 4 beautiful children, 2 girls and 2 boys. 3 are biologically mine, and 1 is my bonus child. I just call her my daughter, saying step just doesn’t seem right to me! I may have not giving birth to her but she is defiantly my daughter.
I have always loved animals. They are amazing and smart and I feel like a lot of us need to learn more from them. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, hamster and 2 pot belly pigs. I would have more if I could!
I started this blog to show other parents, moms that it is not easy and they are not alone. Parenting is the most rewarding and stressful thing that someone can do. It is the hardest job possible. To try and raise amazing human beings. It is not something that you know what to do right away, its a learning experience every step of the way.
I survive on coffee. I probably have way more coffee then I should. I don’t want to know what it would be like if I didn’t have any. This beautiful party in my mouth is how I can raise these 4 chaos creators. As much chaos they create their love and smiles just melt it all way at the end of the day.
I hope you enjoy my blog. Remember you don’t need to be a perfect parent, because in the eyes of your children you are perfect for them!
